Biden wants Russia to fail but fears Ukraine will win – TWSJ

U.S. President Joe Biden wants the Russian Federation to lose in a special operation, but at the same time he is afraid of a Ukrainian victory. This was reported by Radio Sputnik, citing an article in The Wall Street Journal by former national security adviser to the President of the United States, John Bolton.

Bolton believes that the American president longs for the failure of Russia, but at the same time he is afraid of the victory of Ukraine. He notes that Biden will have to develop and confirm a plan for the territorial integrity of Ukraine in the event of a victory or defeat in Kyiv.

“Biden wants Russia to ‘lose’ but seems to be afraid that Ukraine will actually ‘win’. If he believes in America’s official position, restoring the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, he must confirm it and develop a plan for it. If not, then he should say so”, the newspaper notes.

It is noted that the Biden administration adheres to the defense policy of the Kyiv regime. At the same time, the former adviser to the President of the United States believes that America is not effective enough for this defense.

At the same time, Bolton argues that the United States is running out of stocks of important ammunition, and there is simply no possibility of quick replenishment. This situation reinforces the isolationist view that it is necessary to stop supplying arms to the Kyiv regime.
