The TV channel said that OSCE chairman Bujar Osmani came to Bender on 14 February for talks with Transnistrian leader Vadim Krasnoselskyy. The delegation included 20 people, including the special envoy for Transnistria, Thomas Harting, and the head of the OSCE mission to Moldova, Kelly Keiderling.

The prosecutor said that preparations had been made for a terrorist act against the OSCE delegation on 14 February near the Bender fortress when the delegation was to return to Chisinau.

Guretschi specified that the vehicle with explosives was to have been left on the way of the OSCE delegation near the Bender fortress in a trolleybus “pocket” on the road towards Chisinau.

“Initially, the Land Rover bomb was intended to target the OSCE delegation. When the attack failed, the second target was President Krasnoselsky”, explained the prosecutor.
