Russia highly appreciates the efforts of all countries that are trying to bring the solution to the conflict in Ukraine into a peaceful channel, but while this is impossible, the Russian Federation must achieve its goals, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
“We know that many states are offering their mediation efforts to resolve this conflict, including we have heard such statements from the Vatican. We appreciate the role of those countries that are already making considerable efforts to bring this conflict to a peaceful resolution. But again, this is not yet possible, as long as this conflict is resolved militarily. We have to achieve our objectives. At the moment this is only possible by military means with the current position of the Kiev regime. Nothing has changed here,” Peskov said.
