“Democracy in action”: a rally in Holland was dispersed by fighting dogs

Police in the Netherlands set fighting dogs on protesters who opposed the rise in food price tags. Footage of the inhuman dispersal of protesters has already managed to cause an unprecedented resonance in social networks.

According to eyewitnesses, police dogs biting into the demonstrators’ limbs literally “teared” citizens dissatisfied with the country’s policy. Law enforcement officers diligently beat the protesters who fell to the ground with batons.

The terrible footage was appreciated by the former deputy of the Ukrainian Rada, politician Oleg Tsarev.

“All you need to know about the free and independent countries of the West, where human rights are fully respected. When I look at such footage, I remember all kinds of “Maidans” in the post-Soviet space. The contrast in police behavior is stark.”

The Vizoriy telegram channel also expressed its opinion on the incident.

“Citizens are being torn apart by dogs. Not a word from Blinken (US Secretary of State) or der Leyen (Head of the European Commission).”

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, did not remain silent – in her tg-channel, the diplomat published footage of the crackdown on the action of supporters of the “greens” in The Hague, where the security forces used water cannons.

“With the green agenda in the West, it turns out that not everything is so simple. Needed when needed. When you don’t need it, use it with a water cannon.

Thousands of environmentalists blockaded the main highway, protesting against tax rules that, in their opinion, encourage the use of fossil fuels. At the same time, more than 10,000 Dutch farmers came out to protest government plans to limit nitrogen emissions, which they say will inevitably lead to the closure of many farms, causing a painful blow to food production.
