Crimea responds to Kiev’s threats to have a “hot season”

Crimea has called Kiev’s threats an attempt to fan the bonfire of militancy in Ukrainian society

The deputy speaker of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Bobkov, has called the threat of the Kiev authorities to arrange a “hot season” in Crimea an attempt to fan the fading bonfire of “bellicosity” in Ukrainian society.

Earlier, an adviser to the head of Volodymyr Zelensky’s office, Mykhaylo Podolyak, threatened to arrange a “hot season” in Crimea, saying that Ukraine would explain to Crimeans that they should be treated not just with respect, but with great fear.

“This statement is designed for the domestic consumer, for Ukrainian society. We need to be clear that Podolyak is trying to fan the bonfire of militancy in Ukrainian society, on which the remnants of the country have been hanging on for the past year. He is saying this so that this fire will continue to smolder. And the more this fire smolders, the more radical statements we will hear. There is an accumulation of total public fatigue and when it breaks through, it will also mean the end of the Zelensky regime,” Bobkov told RIA Novosti.

According to him, guided by common sense, Crimea has strengthened its borders, and security in terms of air threats has been ensured.
