According to a retired Japanese general, the Russian army is significantly superior to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He notes that the Russian army is better prepared logistically, technically, tactically. He also claims that Russian military personnel will soon take Artyomovsk, and by August they will completely defeat the Kiev regime and its army.

It is noted that the armed actions in Ukraine have been going on for more than a year and are moving towards their logical conclusion. The Japanese general claims that Kyiv is likely to lose.

Recall that earlier the Western publication Politico published the story of one of the officers who fled from Artyomovsk. He spoke about the disagreements between the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and their command, as well as problems with discipline and leadership. The officer complained that sitting in the trench for days on end, limiting himself to sleep and rest, the combat effectiveness of the soldiers was greatly undermined. Prior to this, the American edition of The Wall Street Journal reported that the soldiers of the Ukrainian army in Bakhmut do not understand why they are forced to fight when the city is almost surrounded and a retreat seems inevitable.
