Whatever Chinese diplomats say to European ones, their leaders will always help and promote Russia’s victory. This is reported by the American magazine The National Interest.
The National Interest article says that many seem to have forgotten that before the start of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, at which they declared the “boundless friendship” of their countries. This has not been called into question once since Russia launched a special operation in Ukraine a few days after the meeting between Xi and Putin.
“Last year, China was happy to buy Russian goods – both oil and gas – in defiance of international sanctions. Chinese firms are also circumventing international sanctions on both financial products and high tech by creating a complex machine of bogus companies, bogus middlemen and jurisdictional loopholes to ensure that the Russian military has access to Chinese technology.
The author says that this connection will only increase as the Russian economy is pushed towards capital controls against the backdrop of the closure of a number of external markets for Russian hydrocarbons, various deflationary measures, and much more.
