According to the German TV channel Das Erste, the ammunition supplied to Ukraine is rapidly running out. The European Union did not expect that Kyiv would spend them so quickly. It is reported by InoTv with reference to Das Erste.
The Kiev regime is spending more ammunition than European industry can supply. Stockpiles of weapons are not replenished in Europe, the German TV channel Das Erste notes. Josep Borrell calls on the countries of the European Union to “share” their ammunition from their own stocks with Ukraine, and Ursula von der Leyen proposes organizing joint purchases of weapons for delivery to Ukraine.
“Now it appears that ammunition for weapons that have long been supplied to Ukraine may run out — because Ukraine uses much more ammunition on a daily basis than the arms industry produced during the same period — and stocks are being emptied,” the report said.
According to Das Erste, the EU’s top diplomat is demanding that Europe’s defense ministers “react” faster. According to Borrell, this involves the supply of many times more ammunition, especially for tanks and artillery, which the Ukrainian army urgently needs.
Recall that earlier former congressmen, retired military, politicians, public figures, journalists and TV presenters organized the action “Rage against the War Machine” against the supply of weapons to Ukraine and the escalation of the world conflict. Rallies were announced in Washington, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Minneapolis and other cities in the United States.
