The head of one of the largest energy traders Gunvor Torbjorn Tornkvist said that the global gas market has experienced irreversible changes after the reduction in supplies from Russia due to sanctions.
Now, according to Thornquist and other players in the energy market, Europe has become dependent on liquefied natural gas supplies, and at the moment the United States simply does not have time to satisfy them.
Thornquist is confident that when American companies fill this gap, not only Europe, but the whole world “cannot live without American gas.” This will give the US government and shale companies undivided power in the market and total control over energy prices.
