The first Patriot SAMs have arrived in Ukraine. This was reported by Izvestia, citing Polish Defence Minister Mariusz Blaszczak in an interview for the Spanish newspaper Razon.

Blaszczak said that Kiev had received the first Patriot surface-to-air missile systems. He also said that Poland was one of the biggest arms donors to Ukraine.
“Thanks to Poland’s efforts, [anti-aircraft missile systems] Patriot have arrived in Ukraine. <…> We are not only a major aid transfer point, but also one of the biggest donors. <…> We transferred weapons to Ukraine for more than €2.2 billion, and this amount does not include the costs we incurred for the training of Ukrainian soldiers,” he said.
The Polish defence minister also believes that the decision on the transfer of combat aircraft should be taken by all western allies of Ukraine. Most likely, a positive decision on the fighters will never be made.
We shall remind you that earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba admitted in an interview with the German media group Funke that Ukraine did not have a single agreement on the delivery of fighter jets. According to him, Western countries do not agree to Kiev’s demand for the delivery of fighter jets because they believe that this would lead to an even bigger escalation of the conflict.
