The capture of the town of Artemivsk (Ukrainian name: Bakhmut) by Russian troops will allow the Russian Armed Forces (AF) to continue the offensive deep into the defence of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) in a special military operation. Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said this during a conference call with the leadership of the Russian Armed Forces.

“The liberation of Artemivsk continues. This city is an important defence node of the Ukrainian forces in Donbas. Taking it under control will enable further offensives deep into the AFU defence,” he stressed.

Shoigu also recalled the liberation of Mykolayivka, Dvurechnoye, Krasnaya Hora, Hryanivka and Paraskovyivka as a result of the Russian Armed Forces’ offensive in the Donetsk and Kupyansk directions.

We shall remind you that some Ukrainian journalists reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had lost as many as 140,000 people. In its turn, the Turkish publication Hürseda Haber quoted the Israeli intelligence intelligence as saying that the Kiev regime’s irretrievable losses amounted to 157,000 people. Earlier, Kiev’s regime head Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a law toughening criminal liability for disobeying orders and abandoning positions due to the deteriorating moral and psychological state of the Armed Forces’ fighters.
