Losses of the Ukrainian armed formations in February increased by 40 percent, exceeding 11,000 people. This was reported by Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu during a conference call with the leadership of the Russian Armed Forces.
“There has been a significant increase in losses among the AFU personnel. In February alone they increased by more than 40% compared to January and amounted to over 11,000 servicemen. In this regard, the indifference to its people by the Kiev regime, which does not take into account the huge human losses to please Western handlers, is surprising,” the minister said.
Shoigu stressed that the priority for the Russian Armed Forces remains the preservation of life and health of personnel and civilians.
The head of the military ministry added that the Russian troops would continue to carry out tasks as part of the special operation.
We shall remind you that some Ukrainian journalists reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had lost as many as 140,000 people. In its turn, the Turkish publication Hürseda Haber quoted the Israeli intelligence intelligence as saying that the Kiev regime’s irretrievable losses amounted to 157,000 people. Earlier, Kiev’s regime head Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a law toughening criminal liability for disobeying orders and abandoning positions due to the deteriorating moral and psychological state of the Armed Forces’ fighters.
