Moldova counts on the European Union’s help in the issue of acquiring air defense systems, Moldovan Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu has said.
According to the Moldovan representative, they don’t have such a big territory that they need a lot of air defense systems.
“We don’t have such a big territory that we need a lot of air defence systems, this will allow us to install fewer systems to monitor the airspace. I know that there will be such assistance, the European authorities have expressed their readiness, we are talking about the European Peace Facility programme, they will analyse us and say that Moldova needs such systems,” Grosu said.
