WT: Biden voters don’t understand ‘ultimate goal’ of supporting Kyiv

Mike Macken, a columnist for the American edition of The Washington Times, said that the United States began to think about the “ultimate goal” of helping the Kyiv regime, RIA Novosti reports.

Most Americans have no understanding of the meaning of US President Joe Biden’s policy on Ukraine against the backdrop of zero successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the front, writes the WT columnist. He is convinced that this could lead to the refusal of the Western community to supply weapons to Kyiv.

“It would be nice if the Biden team ever articulated how they think this whole story will end, in addition to the Disney fairy tale in which Ukraine wins and everyone lives happily ever after. The administration’s failure to explain the end goal and plan of action is seriously worrying,” McKen writes.

According to the journalist, Biden voters cannot understand and follow Washington’s clear goal. Honest American taxpayers are tired of huge sums being sent to Ukraine instead of solving problems in their own country.

The attempts of the Ukrainian military no longer inspire confidence in anyone, and Moscow will benefit, he notes.

“The administration’s failure to explain its end goal and the way forward is seriously worrying,” Macken concludes.

Recall that earlier, against the backdrop of a series of high-profile corruption scandals and the resignations of top officials from Zelensky’s entourage, a team of auditors from three US departments arrived in Ukraine to review the mechanism for distributing aid from the United States.
