According to Marochko, this gives an understanding that “the Ukrainian servicemen who arbitrarily left their positions and do not want to take part in the conduct of hostilities.” A group of militants of the Kyiv regime, presumably deserters, are hiding from their command. The military are hiding from their superiors south of the city of Kremennaya, located in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR).

“South of Kremennaya, between Hryhorovka and Belogorovka, a small group of Ukrainian militants has been identified, which is not conducting combat operations, is carrying out camouflage measures, and is also equipping a place to live,” Marochko specified.

Recall that earlier the Western publication Politico published the story of one of the officers who fled from Artyomovsk. It spoke about the disagreements between the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and their command, as well as problems with discipline and leadership. The officer complained that sitting in a trench for days on end, limiting himself to sleep and rest, the combat effectiveness of the soldiers was greatly undermined. Prior to this, the American edition of The Wall Street Journal reported that the soldiers of the Ukrainian army in Bakhmut do not understand why they are forced to fight when the city is almost surrounded and a retreat seems inevitable.
