Russian fighter aviation has shot down two planes and one helicopter of the Ukrainian Air Force over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defence Ministry has said.

“The Russian Air Force shot down an Su-24 aircraft of the Ukrainian air force near the village of Mikhailovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic,” the statement said.
Additionally, Russian servicemen shot down an Mi-8 helicopter near Kurakhovka and an Su-25 aircraft in Kherson Region.
The Defence Ministry also reported that up to 160 servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces had been killed in the Krasnolimansky direction.
