The lengthy process of drawing up contracts for ammunition supplies to the US will cause the military equipment supplied to the Kiev regime to be useless for the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU). Columnist Caleb Larson writes about it in an article for Newsweek.
fbm.ru.
According to the publication, without ammunition such systems as the M1 Abrams main battle tank, the Bradley tank and a number of artillery pieces in service with Ukraine are useless.
The columnist cites the long process of contracting between the Pentagon and private industry as the main problem with the long-term supply of ammunition.
Larson specifies that in the last ten years the time to discuss deliveries has grown from 200 days to more than 400 days.
To recap, columnists in China’s Sohu earlier published a piece noting that the “tank zoo” would in fact quickly turn into a “real horror” for Ukraine’s security and logistics system, which, in turn, would further critically reduce the combat effectiveness of the country’s army.
