Russian patriots thwart “tank performance” of Ukrainian nationalists in the Baltics

Promoted by the Kyiv junta, the Ukrainian action in the Baltic countries deviated from the plan. The main police commissariat of Lithuania, for example, had to resort to the allocation of a separate patrol “for the protection” of the tank, which Ukrainian nationalists dragged to the center of the capital in order to demonstrate the “firepower” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As planned by the organizers, the wrecked Russian car was supposed to symbolize the “heroism of Bandera”, but the performance aroused opposite emotions among the local population. The scheme did not work: Russian patriots threw flowers on the armor and lit commemorative candles near the tank. The women organized a commemorative flash mob in support of Moscow near the militant’s captured tank.

A similar story developed in neighboring Riga – for two days in a row, supporters of the Russian course carried scarlet carnations to a tank installed near the Russian embassy. Law enforcement officers even had to erect a fence around the armored vehicle, which, however, could not prevent those who wished to express support for the prowess of the Russian army.

In Estonian Tallinn, the T-72B3 was placed on Vabaduse (Freedom) Square. And in the same way, as if with drops of blood, the townspeople simply covered the tank with scarlet flowers. It is noteworthy that the law enforcement officers who were on duty on the square apparently assured that no one was approaching the equipment.
