According to the publication, the protesters are moving to the center of Chisinau, despite the blocked roads. The protesters oppose rising prices and tariffs. They are also calling on the government to pay their winter heating and electricity bills.

It is noted that supporters of the opposition Shor party are sent to the center of Chisinau to participate in the protest action. According to the publication, it was opposition supporters who blocked one of the entrances to the city. It is specified that the Cimislia highway is also blocked.

“People who intend to get to the center of the capital are currently blocking the entrance to Chisinau from Stavcen. We clarify that such actions are unacceptable due to the fact that this artery is an important connection with the capital, and other citizens cannot be disturbed while traveling”, the city police say.

The protesters, who were able to break through the barriers, are gathering in the area of the Unic shopping center. The publication notes that several hundred people have already gathered near the shopping center, and people continue to arrive. Dissatisfied with the Maia Sandu regime, he wants to go to the city hall. Citizens of Moldova participating in the rally hold the flags of their country in their hands.
