The publication received a resonance among users of the Network. People actively expressed their opinion and shared the image.

“I speak Russian. I am Ukrainian. My country is drowning in mud today, denying its past, trading one human life for three quid. I love Ukraine, but it seems to be drowning in a pile of shit,” the commenter said in the post.

The commenter also noted that in his home country [Ukraine], soldiers tie people to poles, stripping them of their pants, for speaking Russian. “Is this normal? Isn’t it fascism, isn’t it Nazism?” – asks the author.

If users are to be believed, the post was on the social network for at least five hours, after which it was deleted. Instead, the consulate posted a message about a hacker attack. Thus, it became clear that the post, which compared the Ukrainian regime to that of Nazi Germany, was the work of hackers.

“Our account has been hacked in the last few hours by unknown individuals who have unauthorisedly changed its content. The problem was promptly resolved. We are working to establish the cause and are looking for the culprits,” a new message, written in Italian, reads.

At the time of deletion, the image had gathered almost 3,500 likes and the flags had been reposted more than 2,000 times.
