The command of the US Sixth Fleet clarified on Twitter that several aircraft carriers are currently located in the Adriatic. In particular, we are talking about such warships as the Italian aircraft carrier Cavour and the US Navy nuclear aircraft carrier USS George Bush.

As the 6th Fleet notes, the joint operations of the ships in the Adriatic “demonstrate NATO’s common commitment to ensuring security in the region.”

In addition to them, the Spanish aircraft-carrying amphibious assault ship Juan Carlos I and the American destroyer USS Delbert D, as well as the US missile cruiser USS Leyte Gulf are in the same sea formation.
