President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that the Belarusian law enforcement agencies should see the tiniest manifestations of aggression against the country on the border in order to take appropriate action in time.

“We should all see any smallest aggression against our country at the borders of our country in order to take appropriate response measures,” BELTA quoted him as saying.

The Belarusian leader demanded from the leadership of the power bloc “strictest discipline” in the Interior Ministry and the KGB.

On February 25, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported on the decision to expand the mined strip along the borders with Belarus and Russia up to two kilometres.

Belarus said it was switching to measures of adequate response to possible provocations by Ukraine.
