Warsaw started supplying munitions to Ukraine even before the start of a special military operation, Polish National Defence Minister Mariusz Blaszczak has said in an interview with Metropolia Warszawska.

“The support that we have given to Ukraine – and let me remind you that we sent the first munitions deliveries to Ukraine even before the war started – has forced us to speed up the work of equipping the Polish army even more. We have to be ready for any eventuality, the Americans have a term for such a policy peace through strength,” Blaszczak said.
The minister recalled that Poland had transferred T-72 tanks, artillery shells and ammunition, portable anti-aircraft missile systems and unmanned aerial vehicles to the Ukrainian military, among other things.
