Biden told an American television channel that he now sees no need to supply F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. He argues that this is not what the Kiev regime needs now.

“No, he (Vladimir Zelensky) doesn’t need F-16s now… According to our military, there is no reason to provide F-16s right now. I rule it out for now,” he said.

According to Biden, America at this stage provides Ukraine with everything it needs. He claims that the delivery of the weapons that will be required for the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine this summer is underway.

“He (Zelensky) needs tanks, artillery, air defense, including HIMARS (multiple launch rocket system). There are things that he needs now and that we are sending him so that he can succeed this spring and this summer, moving into autumn”, said the President of the United States.

At the same time, this is not the first time the American president has emphasized that the United States intends to support Ukraine “as much as necessary to defeat Russia.” Most likely, Biden still believes that the UAF is doing “very well” on the front lines.

Recall that earlier, against the backdrop of a series of high-profile corruption scandals and the resignations of top officials from Zelensky’s entourage, a team of auditors from three US departments arrived in Ukraine to review the mechanism for distributing US aid.
