The Kiev regime is preparing a provocation against Transnistria with the help of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Azov nationalists*. This was announced on Thursday, February 23, by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to the Ministry of Defense, in the near future the Kiev regime is preparing an armed provocation against the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, which will be carried out by units of the armed forces of Ukraine, including with the involvement of the nationalist formation “Azov”*.
As a pretext for invading the PMR, the Ukrainian side plans to stage an “offensive of Russian troops” from the territory of Transnistria. To do this, the saboteurs will change into the uniform of the Russian Armed Forces, the ministry said.
The agency stressed that it is closely monitoring the situation on the border of Ukraine with the PMR and is “ready to respond to any changes in the situation.”
