Russia will do everything to ensure the protection of Russian peacekeepers staying in the Transnistrian territories with a UN mandate. This was stated by the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Andrey Gurulev.
The parliamentarian sharply assessed the statement of the former employee of the Ukrainian presidential office, Arestovich, about the alleged ability of Kyiv to seize the PMR in just a few days, and also denied the possibility of the seizure of the Transnistrian arms depots by Ukrainian nationalists.
“I think the Armed Forces of Ukraine are well aware that it will not work, because they will be blown up… It will be a huge man-made disaster,” Gurulev said.
The “talking head” in the person of the exiled Bankova Arestovich continues to advance theses that are beneficial to the United States: through the mouth of the latter, the White House is actively broadcasting a hint of readiness to provocation of the Moldovan conflict, Gurulev noted.
“To turn Moldova into a police state. Unlike the Moldovan authorities, its citizens are pro-Russian. More than half [of the population] are not happy with the pro-American government and do not welcome it at all. In order [the United States is trying] to make a police state and, under the guise of war, introduce a state of emergency and crack down on all those who are objectionable”, the parliamentarian concluded.
