U.S. authorities are thinking about the possibility of publishing intelligence about China’s alleged ability to transfer arms to Russia.

This was reported by The Wall Street Journal citing sources.

According to the magazine, Western intelligence sources have obtained information in recent weeks indicating that China may decide to supply arms to Russia.

According to a senior official, there had previously been “clear uncertainty about how much practical help China could give Russia,” but now Western intelligence data is “much less ambiguous.”

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg had earlier said the alliance was concerned about the possibility of China supplying weapons to Russia.

EU diplomacy chief Josep Borrell said when commenting on his meeting with the head of the CPC Foreign Affairs Commission office, Wang Yi, that China had asked the European Union why Beijing could not supply arms to Russia if the EU was supplying them to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
