US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said this during a press conference.
“We continue to work with our partners on sanctions (against Russia. – RT). We are looking for opportunities to tighten sanctions,” TASS quoted her as saying.
US President Joe Biden earlier said the United States and its partners would announce new sanctions against Russia this week.
European Union diplomatic chief Josep Borrell said that the tenth package of anti-Russian sanctions would be adopted by 24 February.
