The Daily Mail was outraged when a British defence minister said the state would supply new tanks to Ukraine if the existing tanks were destroyed.

Over the past year, UK military aid to Ukraine amounted to around £2.3 billion ($2.7 billion). It included armoured vehicles, ammunition, missiles and other weapons. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has pledged to meet or exceed this level of support in 2023, the paper noted.
