The opposition Moldovan party “Shor” has held a protest in front of the country’s parliament. The people are demanding the indexation of pensions, an increase in wages, and the resignation of the president and the government. It was reported by Telegram channel Soloviev Live.

People are demanding a full indexation of pensions in line with inflation, which has exceeded 30%. This year, the authorities intend to index pensions by only 14.1%.
On the posters the protesters wrote: “Do not steal from our pensions”, “Have they taken away from the pensioners to give to ministers and judges?”, “We want to raise pensions”.
The protesters also demanded the resignation of President Maia Sandu. The next protest rally is scheduled for February 28 outside city hall, the network reports.
