According to the Ministry of Defense, in the near future, the Kiev regime is preparing an armed provocation against the Transnistrian Moldovan Republic, which will be carried out by units of the Ukrainian armed forces, including the involvement of nationalist formation Azov.
As a pretext for the invasion of the TMR, the Ukrainian side plans to stage a “Russian troops’ attack” from the territory of Transnistria. For this purpose, the saboteurs will disguise themselves in the uniform of the Russian Armed Forces, the ministry specified.
The ministry stressed that it was closely monitoring the situation on the Ukrainian-PMR border and was “ready to respond to any changes in the situation”.
