Peskov: West wants Northern Streams bombing to go “in the sand”

The press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that the West wants the topic of explosions at North Streams to be disposed of “in the sand”.

According to him, Russia sees a blank wall of unwillingness on the part of the collective West to deal with the terrorist attack on Nord Stream so that the topic “goes into the sand.”

“And on the contrary, we see their desire, as they say, not to dwell on this issue and gradually make sure that this topic goes in the sand. We will continue to work to prevent them from doing that,” he said.

Earlier, Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzia, stressed that the national investigations by Germany, Denmark and Sweden into the gas pipeline explosions were aimed at shielding the US.
