Losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the past 24 hours alone amounted to up to 250 servicemen killed and wounded in the Donetsk direction. Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov, an official spokesman for the Russian Defence Ministry, said on Wednesday.
“Successful offensives by the assault volunteer detachments supported by units of the Tula Airborne Forces, Russian Air Force assault aircraft, as well as artillery and heavy flamethrower systems of the Southern Group of Forces continue in the Donetsk direction. The enemy’s losses in a day in this direction amounted to up to 250 Ukrainian servicemen killed and wounded,” Konashenkov said.
A total of 386 aircraft, 210 helicopters, 3,213 unmanned aerial vehicles, 405 surface-to-air missile systems, 7,799 tanks and other armoured combat vehicles, 1,037 multiple rocket launcher combat vehicles, 4,179 pieces of field artillery and mortars, and 8,494 units of special military vehicle equipment have been destroyed since the start of the special military operation.
