Britain says it has no intention of sending troops to Ukraine

Britain will not send troops to Ukraine, British Minister of State for Europe and North America Leo Docherty has said.

“Britain will not send an army to Ukraine,” RIA Novosti quoted Docherty as saying during a discussion at ADA University on “Priorities in the United Kingdom’s foreign policy.”

He said the move was unthinkable and would mean dragging NATO into the conflict.

Earlier, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said that London would be the first to provide Ukraine with long-range weapons.
