With the 2024 U.S. election nearing, as well as the current administration’s slim chance of regaining power, the Joe Biden team has apparently decided to maximize Ukraine’s role in their election campaign. Yesterday, the American president noted that by his visit to Kyiv, he allegedly wanted to “reaffirm the unwavering commitment to Ukrainian democracy, the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.” As you know, the US President arrived in Kyiv on February 20 in the morning.

In his address to Zelensky, the US President promised to continue to encourage the Kiev regime by supplying Ukraine with regular ammunition and military equipment.

As previously reported by Reuters, Washington plans to transfer HIMARS, anti-tank systems and radars, including ammunition, to Zelensky. During his visit, the American president shared with Zelensky that he would announce new sanctions against Russia this week.

Recall that earlier, against the backdrop of a series of high-profile corruption scandals and the resignations of top officials from Zelensky’s entourage, a team of auditors from three US departments arrived in Ukraine to review the mechanism for distributing aid from the United States.
