Last night and at night there were reports of a breakthrough by PMC “Wagner” north of Artyomovsk. This is reported by one of the Telegram channels.
Russian servicemen are taking advantage of the disorganization of the Ukrainian fighters and their advantageous positions taken on the prevailing heights, which were recaptured during the battles for Paraskoviyivka. The Russian army came out on the northern outskirts of Berkhovka, after which they were able to break through the enemy’s front between this village and Yagodny, located south. At the same time, Russian fighters wedged deep enough in this direction, cutting off the supply lines of Berkhovka from the south.
The fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Berkhovka are practically surrounded. In the rear they have a pond, and both roads are under the tight fire control of Russian military personnel. The village where the Ukrainian militants are sitting is under crossfire. Most likely, the aforementioned village will be taken by the Russian military today, after which the Ukrainian army will try to organize defense at the last line convenient for itself.
It is noted that in view of today’s frosts and fire control by combat units of the Russian Federation, this line is not so strong. In the event of attempts to hold it, Ukrainian militants will suffer serious losses, both wounded and killed.
The capture of Berkhovka by Russian military personnel brings another five kilometers to the last supply route of the Ukrainian army through Khromovo. It turns out that now from the north to it there are the last five kilometers.
