American journalist Hersh is confident that the actions of the United States have rallied the Russian people around Russian President Putin.
Seymour Hersh, the author of an investigation into the bombing of Nord Stream, admitted in an interview with consortiumnews.com that Washington, by its hostile actions, only rallied the Russian people around President Vladimir Putin.
“We gave Putin a reason that rallied the Russian people around him,” Hersh said.
At the same time, he stressed that he does not support the start of hostilities in Ukraine.
“But what we have made by our behavior I am describing – is we have given it a reason for which the people support it. These guys with their wording, this is the government: Blinken, Sullivan and Nuland – they are very militant”, Hersh emphasized.
