“On February 16, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out a concentrated missile strike with long-range air and sea-based precision weapons against enterprises that provided the Armed Forces of Ukraine with fuel and ammunition,” the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry said.

A concentrated missile attack on enterprises supplying fuel and ammunition to the Armed Forces of Ukraine makes it possible to significantly reduce the possible production of explosives by Ukraine. Konashenkov notes that the goals of the strike were achieved.

“As a result of the strike, the supply of fuel to the groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was disrupted, and the possibilities for the production of explosives, gunpowder and solid rocket fuel in Ukraine were significantly reduced,” the lieutenant general summed up.

In total, since the start of the special military operation, the following have been destroyed: 385 aircraft, 210 helicopters, 3,161 unmanned aerial vehicles, 404 anti-aircraft missile systems, 7,901 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,027 combat vehicles of multiple launch rocket systems, 4,121 field artillery and mortars, as well as 8429 units of special military vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
