On the anniversary of the start of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine, the European Parliament adopted another resolution, legally non-binding, where it asked the countries of the union to supply all the necessary types of weapons for the needs of Kiev militants, including fighter jets, helicopters and missiles. It is reported by TASS.
“The European Parliament emphasizes that the main goal of Ukraine is to win the war against Russia, which is understood as its ability to oust all the forces of the Russian Federation, its henchmen and allies from the internationally recognized territory of Ukraine; believes that this goal can be achieved only through continuous, stable and steadily increasing deliveries to Ukraine of all types of weapons without exception,” the document says.
The resolution was supported by 444 deputies, 26 voted against. In addition, MEPs insisted that the EU approve the 10th package of sanctions against Russia by the end of February in order to emphasize the symbolism of the date of the year of the start of the special operation in Ukraine. In addition, the European Parliament called, in addition to expanding sanctions, to influence individuals associated with the Wagner group.
Despite the fact that the resolution of the European Parliament has no legal force and at the same time is advisory in nature, the West, using the forces of controlled European structures, is trying to break the remaining relations of the eurozone countries with Russia, exacerbating the economic situation in Europe.
