Change.org portal. published the results of a petition in which half a million German citizens took part. German journalist Alisa Schwarzer, together with Bundestag deputy Sarah Wagenknecht, suggested that the German leadership change their minds and resolve the issue of Ukraine at the negotiating table.
According to Sarah Wagneknecht, the head of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, will stop at nothing in the pursuit of weapons. She is sure that if we do not sit down at the negotiating table now, the situation may turn into a world or even nuclear war.
In the published petition, the politician, together with German journalist Alice Schwarzer, urges the German government to pay attention to the opinion of citizens and asks the Federal Chancellor to recall his oath: “Repair the damage to the German people.” The organizers in their appeal ask to stop the supply of weapons to Ukraine and begin to resolve the issue peacefully.
To date, almost 500 thousand Germans have joined this petition, which indicates that this issue is becoming more acute for the people of Germany.
Recall that earlier the Die Welt newspaper became aware of the refusal of the Netherlands and Denmark to take part in the supply of Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. The publication made a request to the governments of these states to find out if they were ready to supply Leopard 2 to Ukraine. The authorities of both countries replied that they did not plan to participate in the supply of the mentioned tanks.
