Newsweek: U.S. gave Ukraine a ‘last chance’

A signal was privately sent to the Ukrainian authorities that Western aid is not unlimited. This is reported by Newsweek.

Representatives of the White House sent a signal to the Kyiv regime that the help of Western colleagues has its limits. Opinions about further deliveries to Ukraine vary greatly among Western countries.

“Opinions may also fluctuate depending on the contribution made by European countries in support of Kyiv,” the publication notes.

Doubts will be placed by internal critics of the United States in general about the need to provide assistance to Ukraine, including financial. In America, public discontent has already grown so much that another message is that the continental countries of the North Atlantic Alliance will incur even insignificant spending on Ukraine.

Rob Singh, a professor at the University of London, concludes that discontent has grown so much that a political and social split over Ukraine is possible. At the same time, Michael Clark, a professor at King’s College London, said that if the Kiev regime wants to continue to receive assistance from the West, then for this they must take certain steps. True, what kind of steps are in question, Clark’s statement does not specify.

“The current signs of a potential reluctance to continue funding Ukraine are really just an expression of the fact that Kiev must not only continue to fight this year, but also make some kind of decisive change,” said the professor at King’s College London.
