Missile fragments were found in the region of Briceni in the north of the Republic of Moldova. This was stated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moldova.
The Border Guard Service of Moldova found fragments of a rocket in the region of Briceni, which is located in the north of the republic. The affiliation of the found fragments of the rocket is not specified.
“A patrol of the border police discovered fragments of a rocket near the settlement of Larga (Brichany district), which appeared as a result of Russian airstrikes in Ukraine,” the department’s Telegram channel says.
It is specified that the border service of Moldova has implemented an emergency plan. At the same time, the number of police patrols in the border zone with Ukraine, which monitor the airspace and the green belt, has been increased.
The message about the found fragments of the rocket was received by the emergency rescue service 112, the Bombtech brigade and the prosecutor’s office of the Briceni district. The perimeter is guarded by the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations and the Border Police in order to prepare assistance to the investigation teams.
The agency notes that this is the fourth time that rocket fragments have fallen on the territory of Moldova.
