Ursula von der Leyen, head of the European Commission, earlier said that the 10-th package of EU sanctions against the Russian Federation plans restrictions worth 11 billion euros. She specified that such restrictions would close previous failures in other sanctions packages.

According to the publication, which was made available to them, the European Commission has proposed a ban on imports of Russian-made synthetic rubber in the 10th package of sanctions against Russia. Such a proposal has caused “substantial disagreement” between the post ambassadors of European countries in Brussels. As a result of the last meeting of the postpresidents of the EU countries, no new package of sanctions against Russia could be agreed.
