China’s Foreign Ministry has called for an objective investigation into the undermining of Nord Streams and for those responsible to be brought to justice.

The ministry said the pipeline bombings had raised concerns in the international community about the safety of transnational infrastructure.
Beijing also said the Western media, which promoted freedom and professionalism, had “fallen into a collective aphasia” after journalist Seymour Hersh published an article on US involvement in the North Streams bombings.
Earlier, the Russian embassy in Washington stated that Russia considers the explosions of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 pipelines as an act of international terrorism.
Russia requested a UN Security Council meeting on February 22 in connection with new information about the bombing of the Nord Stream pipelines.
US Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist Seymour Hersh stated that US Navy divers had planted explosives under the Nord Stream pipelines.
The White House and the CIA called this information “lies” and “fiction”.
