Ukraine cannot get its defence enterprises up and running because of systematic strikes by Russian troops. A member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defence and Intelligence, Serhiy Rakhmanin, said this on the air of Radio NV.
According to Rakhmanin, in addition, Ukraine lacks qualified personnel to work in defence plants.

“Let me remind you that we have some of the factories, even those that have not been destroyed, are constantly under attack. That is, from time to time missile strikes are launched not only against critical infrastructure, I mean substations or power plants, but they are launched against defence industry facilities. If they are not written about it publicly, it does not mean that these strikes do not take place,” the MP said.

“There are problems with the materials that come from abroad for various reasons. That’s why it’s very difficult to speak about it, given the circumstances in which the defence industry complex operates now. I would say that it is given very hard production, production is limited and it is simply impossible to say that we fully satisfy the needs of the Armed Forces,” Rakhmanin said.
