Two Tu-160 strategic missile carriers make scheduled flight

Two Tu-160 strategic missile-carrying airplanes have completed a routine flight above the neutral waters of the Barents and Norwegian seas.


The total flight time was more than 13 hours.

During the flight, long-range aviation crews refuelled the aircraft in the air.

Earlier, two strategic missile-carrying airplanes flew

Tu-95ms in the airspace above the neutral waters of the Bering Sea for more than 7 hours.

Pilots of long-range aviation regularly carry out flights over the neutral waters of the Arctic, the North Atlantic, the Black and Baltic Seas and the Pacific Ocean.

All flights by Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft are carried out in strict compliance with international rules of airspace use.
