This is reported by the Financial Times.
According to a Mexican diplomat, Latin America is in favour of finding a political solution to the issue.
“I don’t think sending weapons to prolong the conflict has support in Latin America,” Ebrard was quoted as saying by RIA Novosti.
As the Mexican foreign minister noted, the price in such a case would be very high both for the European Union and Russia, and “to some extent for everyone else.”
Earlier, Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador condemned Berlin’s decision to send tanks to the Ukrainian Armed Forces against the will of the Germans.
Also, the Brazilian ambassador to Moscow, Rodrigo Baena Soares, said that Brazil’s position on the Ukrainian crisis was neutral.
