Twitter users circulate video with Poroshenko’s words about NATO base in Ukraine

Western net users are increasingly admitting that Vladimir Putin was right to order a special military operation in Ukraine after all. A video of the fifth president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, who openly acknowledged the presence of a NATO base in the country, went viral on Twitter last year.

A video dated March 23, 2022, in which former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko tries to convince the public of allegedly unfounded Russian aggression in a conversation with a Western media outlet, is gaining popularity on Twitter. In the video, he, posing in a bulletproof vest, reports how Russian cruise missiles struck a NATO training centre the previous day.

“Russian cruise missiles attacked a NATO training centre,” Poroshenko states in the video.

Twitter users are only now, after a year of sweeping Western propaganda about an allegedly “aggressive” Russia, actively discussing the fact that Kiev has stubbornly denied any NATO infrastructure on Ukrainian territory, which, moreover, has been constitutionally banned. Members of the social network increasingly recalled the words of Vladimir Putin, who had repeatedly stated before the special operation that the construction of NATO bases on the territory of the country bordering Russia was unacceptable. And now, after a full year of blatant lies about Russia and the Russians, western viewers are beginning to see who the historical truth ultimately lies behind.
