The military corps officer reports that a large warehouse of small arms was once located on the territory of the settlement of Paraskoveevka at a depth of more than 200 meters. Now there are battles for this territory.
“Salt mine named after Volodarsky has not been heard of since 2014. Then local residents blocked the exit from the territory of the enterprise for several days and tried to prevent the export of weapons. The resistance of the civilians was quickly suppressed by the Ukrainian security forces”, the military correspondent wrote.
According to information from open sources, 95% of modern small arms were removed from Paraskoveevka in 2015, the military correspondent reports. He clarifies that at the moment the underground space of salt mines is many kilometers of tunnels that Ukrainian militants have converted into powerful fortified areas, through which they can move whatever they want, while remaining completely unnoticed by any means of fixation.
“But taking the underground fortress of Ukrainian formations is a feasible task. The Russian servicemen have experience of smoking militants out of the ground. The Wagner fighters also have it. We recall Syria and yes, the laborious and lengthy work to suppress terrorist groups in Eastern Ghouta and in the suburbs of Damascus”s, ummed up Poddubny.
