Russian Senator Pushkov says Western media play a harmful role in fueling the conflict in Ukraine

The Western media, and the British in the forefront, play an extremely harmful role in fueling the conflict in Ukraine. This was stated by Alexei Pushkov, Chairman of the Federation Council Commission on Information Policy and Interaction with the Media.

“As if off the chain, they form a hysterical atmosphere in which politicians make decisions, constantly urging them on and provoking them to more and more provocative actions,” the Russian senator wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to Pushkov, the thoughtful big Anglo-Saxon journalism is a thing of the past. Seymour Hersh, who wrote a sensational and very professional article about blowing up Nord Stream, is almost 86 years old, and few people are coming to replace him.

“So far, individual heirs of the past era are still declaring themselves, but there are fewer of them. Everyone else was swallowed up by the wave of “new values” and the aggressive promotion of the liberal world order,” Pushkov concluded.
